Ok so I’m a little behind on the blogging but I’m going to make up for it this week!  2 weeks ago I finally had the opportunity to photograph Heather and Jason’s wedding at the Franklin Plaza Ballroom ( http://www.franklinplaza.com/franklinplazaballroom/home.aspx )

Here’s a few of my favorite photos that I will be adding to the wedding gallery in the near future.  They are just proofs right now, I have’t finished editing but I just had to share them.  Heather and Jason are absolutely amazing, and so were their family and friends that joined them to celebrate this amazing day!

The window light in the bridal suite they had was just amazing, I had to grab a few shots using just the light from the windows and then a few silhouette shots as well.

They had a pretty sweet chaise there that I took advantage of.  The wedding gown was so big she could barely sit anywhere for pictures.

Heather and Jason ended up opting for First Look added to their wedding photography package.

This last photo was from the old board room.  It is a pretty interesting room, very swanky.

While at the wedding I also had the opportunity to meet local celebrity Kristi Gustafson of the Times Union ( http://blog.timesunion.com/kristi/), she was amazing of course!  I also had the chance to meet the person responsible for all the amazing flower arrangements for the event, Karen Castro Splendido of Splendid Stems ( http://splendidstems.com/ ) and I can’t wait to get the opportunity to photographer her flowers again!

This weekend at the Franklin Plaza in Troy I had the honor of photographing Heather & Jason’s big day!  They also decided to order photo booth services from me.  Here’s a few of my favorite snap shots featuring Drop It Modern’s “Peacock” background!

So I ordered this to give people better perspective on what to expect when ordering any enlargements from us.  The photo below depicts what an 8×10 canvas will look like over your couch.  Next to it we placed a canvas enlargement far more suitable for display over a large object light a couch.  The canvas enlargement on the right is a 20×30.  I hope this serves to help give more perspective on any indecision one may  have about what size will look good.

Policy Changes

So everyone’s lost a sock.  There’s just no explanation for it.  They just vanish, maybe into another dimension, maybe abducted by one-footed aliens, who knows.  Well Photographers have these little things that slip on their camera, no bigger than a dime, no real function except to help prevent dust and debris from making contact with sensitive parts of your camera and causing a malfunction.  As you can see I order a lot of spares…

Happy Valentine’s Day!  Here are a few cute cards that you could create from any of your photo sessions with us.  They make great cards to give for the classroom or daycare!  Cards generally take about 3 business days to create.  We can create cards for any event or occasion just ask!

First day of the new year and multiple wedding inquires are already rolling in?  YES PLEASE!  If this is any kind of indication of how the rest of the year will be for weddings this is going to be amazing!  We’re cooking up some new ideas this week.  Thinking BIG!
